We helped Fidelity understand why staff in China and Hong Kong were not engaging with its diversity and inclusion survey.
2 workshops8,000+ employees worldwide
The challenge
Fidelity’s D&I survey reached 50% completion or less in China and Hong Kong, against a 70% target. We were asked to find the cultural and psychological barriers.
Our approach
We audited workplace behaviour and analysed Fidelity’s current language in two workshops, based on local attitudes to D&I and best-practice examples.
The result
A list of cultural nuances and behavioural codes that guided a new set of APAC D&I communications.
70%+expected survey completion after the relaunch
Brand-wide figures reflect the client’s overall performance, not this project alone.
